ASSISTANT AQUATIC MANAGER

This is a full-time position that will work variable hours which include some evenings and weekends.

Incumbent is responsible for assisting the Aquatic Manager in implementing and maintaining aquatic programming and staffing. Duties include: overseeing and monitoring all staff and programs, all facility equipment and facility maintenance, all water testing, cleaning and all other duties associated with working at the Aquatic Center.

High School Diploma or GED; knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of an associate degree in recreation or a course of study related to the occupational field; and, experience usually associated with one to three years of experience or service.

Position Requirements: Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation/AED Certifications or ability to obtain by date of hire; Jeff Ellis Swimming Instructor License or ability to obtain at next available class; Certified Pool Operator or ability to obtain at next available class; Lifeguard certificate (due to the facility being Ellis& Associates Licensed, specific training, including Ellis & Associates lifeguarding licensure, will be additional training required upon hire). Applicant will be required to have a post-offer pre-work screening and pre-employment drug screening. Residency required within a 20-minute drive time of the worksite. Residency to be established within sixty (60) days.
