HF 718 & SSB 1218 Legislation could be voted on tomorrow –

    If you are not at the table – you are on the menu! Iowa Foundation for Parks and Recreation has been at the table in Des Moines – all day yesterday and again tomorrow- pushing our opposition to these bills. Cris Christenson and Matt Boggess will be there tomorrow meeting with the Governor’s staff to talk about the implications on these policies. Please take the time to reach out today to voice your concern – in the morning. The vote could be in the afternoon, if the vote doesn’t happen tomorrow.. it has a deadline of 10 days. Please respond to this email or on the Foundation Facebook to show the communities in Iowa you are supporting them. We are in this together.
